Gendex 3D Scan

Robertsdale Dental Care has recently upgraded to 3D xray capability.

Our Gendex CB500 gives our doctors targeted treatments, for unsurpassed surgical predictability

This equipment allows our staff to capture anatomically accurate information to assist in diagnosis, planning and treatment. Digitally replicate mouth and jaw anatomy with exactitude. Determine precise tooth positions, bone structure, locations of relative anatomy, and vital structures using complete, 360-degree, three-dimensional scans that display vividly on a computer monitor.

Patient getting x-rays

Panoramic X-rays

The highly trained staff at Robertsdale Dental Care take panoramic X-rays to reveal bone abscesses, show impacted teeth or determine the condition of dental work such as old root canals or fillings.

Panoramic X-rays put out less radiation than traditional Full Mouth Xray. Your X-rays can be seen by Dr.s Northcutt and Hardy in just several minutes. And having them taken is much more comfortable than old-fashioned mouth xrays!

Intraoral cameras

The Doctors and team use tiny, digital intraoral cameras that fit comfortably in your mouth, enabling him to see an enlarged image of your teeth and any problems. The camera is located in the tip of the intraoral wand and transmits real-time video for you and the doctor to review.

Laser gum disease treatment

Robertsdale Dental Care employs laser technology to handle mild to intermediate gum disease. Our special laser is designed for the soft-tissues of the mouth and can treat gum disease before it becomes severe.

The tiny laser is aimed between the gum tissue and teeth where it painlessly removes and kills bacteria that cause gum disease. The small laser is able to penetrate deeply into pockets between the gums and teeth, ensuring that bacteria has no place to hide.
